Tony Hill
was born June 27, 1965 on Capitol Hill in St. Paul, Minnesota. He grew up near the Canadian border and graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in political science. Tony has worked as a state employee and is currently in the CD business in Minneapolis. Tony's hobbies include producing concerts on the tower bells at Minneapolis City Hall (and no matter how often he puts the weight of the bells [300 to 7000 pounds] in the press release, someone ALWAYS shows up looking for a handbell concert). He is a musicologist on the side and has extensively researched the music of Irving Berlin. As a book critic, his reviews have been published in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch and the Minneapolis Star Tribune, among others. Prior to joining the Top 5 List, his chief contribution to comedy was asking a state legislator and law professor, "Are you our new intern?"; at a political party meeting.
